Frequently asked

Does brush plating affect the base metal?+

No. Brush plating runs at ambient temperature, so there is no heat-affected zone and the base metal's mechanical properties are preserved.

Can you plate a part without removing it from the machine?+

Yes. Because plating is selective and the equipment is portable, we can often repair components in place — avoiding teardown and freight.

What metals can you deposit?+

Nickel, copper, cadmium, silver, gold, zinc and a range of alloys, selected for the repair's wear, corrosion or conductivity requirements.

Do you provide certification?+

Full traceability and certification is available on request, including in-process thickness checks and final dimensional inspection.
